He started his career in media in the '90s with the launch of Ray Gun, a critically acclaimed, award-winning music and design magazine. He went on to create magazines for Time Warner and MTV Europe, and founded Nylon in 1999, which he built into a global media brand for the millennial generation distributed in over 30 countries. Jarrett was a pioneer in online video, launching NYLON TV in 2005 in addition to collaborations with YouTube, iTunes, Instagram, Nike and Urban Outfitters. Jarrett's photography has also earned kudos, having shot some top global talent, including musicians and actors Katy Perry, Lana Del Rey, Ewan McGregor and Jared Leto.
