Overview

After learning she has inherited a house and some money from her late husband's cousin, Bethany Benson, with only $12.86 left to her name, flees unspeakable hardships in the hope of finding a better life for herself and her two children. Upon arriving at Ravens' Roost Farm in Oak Grove, Virginia, she finds the house in disrepair with a giant tree limb blocking the entry.
