Jessica Morgan is a gifted profiler. Some might even use the term legendary when speaking of her skills. Rare Vintage, the debut novel by author Dee Rismiller, is a riveting sapphic thriller with two unforgettable, badass women. Jess Morgan and Erin Little share a few things in life: they're both respected and capable FBI agents, they've worked the ugliest of cases, they hate working with a partner, and they've both got tons of baggage. Shake it all up and you get a downright sexy thriller with enough spice to heat things up and enough twists and turns to make your pulse race. The queerness of the two main characters isn't the center of the story-it's simply who these women are, which is refreshing for a lesbian thriller-romance novel. Rismiller can easily hold her own with some of today's top female writers. If you're a fan of Caitlin Starling's The Death of Jane Lawrence or C. L. Author Information

Dee was born in California and raised in Iowa. After two years in college, she served in the US Navy from 1981 to 1985. Upon leaving the service, she held a couple different jobs, until settling in as a financial fraud investigator in the banking industry. Over the years she's lived in Georgia, Virginia, and Delaware. Currently, Dee is retired, single, and living in Corpus Christi, TX.
