Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationPfano Mashau is an academic at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, School of Entrepreneurship and Management. He holds a PhD in Management. He also has various non-degree career development certificates acquired from short programmes (Locally and Internationally). As an academic, he is involved in lecturing at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His research focus is on Small Business Development, Innovation, Business Management, Entrepreneurship and Agglomeration Economies. Prior to working as an academic, he worked for JET Education Services, BioRegional and a few small businesses. Prof Mashau has published over 40 research articles, supervised eight doctoral theses to completion, and over 20 Masters dissertations. Some of the research work has been presented in international conferences. He has been an editor for a journal and a book. He is a member of the Pan African Research Council and the Institute of Business Advisors. Jabulani Nyawo is a Senior Lecturer and the Academic Leader: Teaching and Learning within the School of Management, Information Technology and Governance. Before joining the UKZN, He worked as a Business Coach for Bio-Regional South Africa – an NPO involved in community development by supporting and developing small businesses in South Africa. In June 2014, Dr. Nyawo joined the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (KZN) as a Development Facilitator. He assisted in facilitating the implementation of social development interventions and ensured the linkages between the traditional institutions and municipalities concerning IDPs.
