Overview

Rape is an awful offense and takes a lot of strength for a victim to become a survivor. I rote this for the first time 4 years ago. It seemed fitting on the 24th anniversary to release an update of my journey from victim to survivor to so much more. This happened to me 20 years ago as a naive young woman. It has taken me 20 years to tell my story and I hope it inspires young women who have been victims to believe in themselves and become survivors. this tale isn't for the feint of heart. It is a hard read but if you have the stomach for it or have been through something similar it may just help you. Rape and surviving rape isn't discussed nearly as much as it should be and I hope my telling of my story goes some way to changing the rhetoric.
