Overview

Ranger, a reclusive house cat, finds his world turned upside-down when he accompanies twelve-year-old Julia and her aunt on a cross-country bicycle trip riding in Julia's bike basket. Ranger starts out as a reluctant passenger, but when the trip becomes more difficult than Julia ever imagined, she begins to rely on him to get her through the tough times. Ranger vows to help her finish and realize her dream. When Rick, the grumpy tour leader, threatens to send him home, his loyalty is tested.
