Overview

This book came out of the emails I sent to a group of people, some relatives and some friends. I became a liberal (in the American sense) through the influence of the counterculture, and these are my opinions and thoughts as a liberal man. The American liberal is very important to the world, just as the environmentalists and anti-globalization activists are very important to the world. The world is in crisis, in various aspects of its existence and life on it. This crisis, political, environmental, social, etc., was brought upon the world by the Western industrial civilization. That civilization has to be questioned, cautioned, and some elements of it have to be completely opposed. That opposition has to come from the West itself, and such mass scale opposition originated in the a60s in America, England and Europe. Today, the opposition to the destructive forces is centered in the liberal consciousness.
