Overview

This book is going to be strange. Like me, the structure is probably going to be a little off, and that's how I want it. There are many moments of trauma, so if you get super invested in the characters this is probably not the book for you. I will make you laugh. I will make you cry. But unfortunately that's how the real life healing process goes. The beauty in recovery is that it's perfectly imperfect. Words that hurt me are in here. There is no Voldemort, so I'm not going to sugar coat it. In this story I portray almost every character in the sense that I have learned from these moments. I am both the hero and the villain of this story. I gave away the end, but the middle is the most beautiful part. Sometimes our inner monologues show us who we really are as people, and some times that person can be ugly. I've only edited for brevity in certain places, leaving grammar untouched in others, all to keep the messages clear. All of the references in this book come from outside journals and writings that I've kept over the years. There will be multiple content warnings throughout the book.
