Raising the Dead

Overview

Is it ethical to use AI and nanotechnology to enhance a healthy person? In Raising the Dead, Susanne Dobbin addresses the use of technology, morality, and the challenges of living in the End Times. It's April 2030. Breanna, her husband, and their friends are shocked to discover their nemesis, Edward, is very much alive and seeking revenge against the Christians who thwarted his attempt to gain world power. Edward is obsessed with the biomedical technologist, Breanna, and determined to use her skills to design a nano program so he can create a nearly indestructible army and establish international dominance. While trying to stop Edward, a group of Christians discovers his plans to raise his sinister sister from the dead using Breanna's nano program! As time is running out, the Christian resistance must overcome every impediment, work together, and trust God to save humanity in this end-times, Revelation-inspired thriller.

Author Information

Susanne Dobbin worked for over twenty years in child protection before taking early retirement. During the COVID pandemic, she helped seniors as a personal support worker. Writing is her chief self-indulgence, next to reading and chocolate. Being a Christian is primary in Susanne's life. However, her three grown children and three grandsons run a close second and are truly a blessing from God. Susanne currently resides in Ontario, living close to extended family and wonderful friends. A house full of pets completes the picture. Susanne likes to think she is one cat away from the crazy cat lady designation.
