The author obviously has many years of experience in dealing with gifted children and bringing out the best in them. I would highly recommend! Helpful Report Robert J. Wise 5.0 out of 5 stars Raising Gifted Kids book review Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2025 I absolutely loved this book! I wish it had been that way when my sons were young. It is an easy read and provides rich, engaging, practical advice for caregivers of gifted children. I especially liked the ""element"" sections, which offered hands-on advice on how to implement the information stated in the book. Also, the author emphasized that the growth mindset and working with gifted children are a marathon, not a sprint, which is a crucial part of this process. As a retired high school math teacher, I experienced the same need for perseverance among gifted students. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, teacher, or other adult around talented children, this is a must-read! One person found this helpful. Helpful Report

Author Information

Lillianne Bowersock's journey as an educator in Special Education has been a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication. From being among the first students to major in this field at Marshall University to her pivotal role in integrating students with disabilities into regular classrooms, Lillianne's story is one of resilience and progress. Her embrace of AI technology as a team teacher is a testament to her unwavering commitment to providing the best education for her students, showing her dedication to their learning and growth. She lives in Huntington, WV, and has been teaching for Cabell County Schools for 35 years. Then, she was part of the ongoing effort to blend these unique students into regular classrooms. Lillianne sees the brilliance of having AI at her fingertips when she works as a team teacher with a general education instructor. Lillianne may have 4-6 students for whom she is responsible for making the curriculum more easily understood at various levels of learning that=n the subject being taught. I would enable her to create explanations of the material at her level in just moments, ideally helping her succeed. She is a mother of three wonderful adult children; she is an artist who teaches art to small children in her spare time, and she gardens and cultivates beautiful houseplants as well. Her journey as an educator has been a testament to the power of perseverance and dedication.. Her embrace of AI technology as a team teacher further reflects her commitment to providing the best education for her students at the Huntington Museum of Art, where she guides local classroom groups and their teachers through various activities to both instill a love for art and also an understanding of how to observe, analyze, and begin their journey to include art.
