Author Information

Marteen Baker grew up on a farm in Colorado and that is where his passion for gardening and animals was ignited. After working a few jobs in both local and national farms and greenhouses, Baker went on to travel the globe to immerse himself in Spain's organic agriculture industry. During his stay, he managed to find a job at a profitable urban farm and learned the ropes first-hand. Since then, Baker decided to put his money where his interests are and started his own company, which experiments with various gardening and farming methods, and finds innovative ways to grow bountiful crops all year-round. Having Dutch roots, Baker enjoys pottering around in his home garden, tending to his colorful collection of tulips, and bicycling around town with his 15-year-old dog, Caspar.
