Author Joe Green also known as JMG, was born in Washington DC and is a Maryland native. Joe is a teacher, administrator, and educational access and success consultant. Throughout his career in education in the United States, Joe has served numerous school systems and universities over the past twenty years. He has focused much of his career on preparing first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented students for post-secondary education and graduate studies. During his tenure, Joe has provided research presentations and talks for both national and international audiences. Green's expertise spans mentorship, educational leadership, team building, and community engagement. Joe earned an undergraduate degree in Sociology and advance degrees in Counseling/Education and Political Science.
