OverviewA CD-ROM containing over 6,000 annotated high-resolution images of radiographs of patients with skeletal dysplasias and malformation syndromes. The images are selected from a unique database of over 25,000 radiographs held at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London. Over 220conditions - more than 90% of generalised skeletal abnormalities - are covered. Images showing examples of these conditions are accompanied by relevant facts from the patient's notes, an abstract summarising the conditions, and up-to-date references to the key literature. REAMS can be used as a conventional radiological atlas, or conditions can be sorted by age (to study how the condition changes during the patient's life), by radiographic view (to illustrate the variations of a condition), by patient, or by a combination of parameters. Search software can retrieveimages of specific conditions, body parts, features or findings. The product can be used as a reference source, teaching aid, or aid to diagnosis.System requirements: IMB PC or full compatible.
