High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Radioacktiva, el planeta rock (the rock planet) is a Colombian radio station held in Bogota. It is owned by Caracol Radio group, part of the Spanish media organization Grupo PRISA. In 1989 it performed its first live broadcast in 102.9 F.M dial, programming both rock and pop music. In 1997 it was reopened in the current 97.9 F.M dial, was focused on rock music and was given the wide-known motto Planeta Rock. It is the main program in the station. Held from 5:00 am to 11:00 am, it gathers the main presenters: Carlos Alberto Montoya (whose voice has been widely used in both radio and T.V. advertisements; he is currently married with the Colombian T.V presenter Darcy Quinn), Francisco Cardona, Juanita Kremer (the only woman in the station), and others. As it is common in its genre, El Gallo is based in the integration with the audience by offering prizes(concerts tickets, CDs, T-Shirts) in funny contests and quizzes. These frequent contact with people has made of it one of the top programs in the youth radio in Colombia.
