Radio Television of Kosovo (Albanian: Radio Televizioni i Kosoves, Serbian:, transliterated, Radio Televizija Kosova) is the public service broadcaster in Kosovo. It consists of the television service, broadcast on the terrestrial transmitter network and digital satellite, and two Radio stations, Radio Kosovo and Radio Blue Sky. RTK operates under UNMIK Regulation 2001/13 as a self-managing organization led by a General Director who is answerable to a non-political Board of Directors. In 1975, the first public Radio and Television service of Kosovo called Radio Television of Pristina (RTV Pristina, RTP) was founded as an outpost of the Yugoslav Radio and Television network JRT.
