Overview

A necklace made from human ears leeds a DNA expert of the FBI to the trail of Calico Jack Rackham who was hanged in 1720 but the former pirate's genes have inspired his descendants to return to the Caribbean with equally bold criminal intentions. George Almond, a serial adventurer, was first drawn to this story by a long-haired Polynesian girl who was terrified by ghosts. Later when visiting the Turks and Caicos he came across a Canadian accountant who also experienced spooky moments on the very same island where the pirate Calico Jack Rackham made his base in 1700.Almond is busy on further writing projects, having published Even Higher Than Everest on Amazon some years ago. That book, he says, holds a special place on his hard-drive's heart, because it too is based on historic truths. Now he is compiling a book on all his many adventures Take The Top Card.
