Originally from [[Huntly, Scotland |Huntly]] in Aberdeenshire, Stewart joined the station in February 2007 and until August 2008, was a regular anchor of the nightly North Tonight opt-out for Tayside and North-east Fife from the station's studios in Seabraes, Dundee. Following a switch in jobs with colleague Lynne Rankin, Stewart is now based at STV North's main newsroom in Aberdeen as a reporter and occasional presenter of late night and weekend bulletins. She is married to BBC Scotland reporter Kevin Keane.
