He began teaching the Old Testament at the Salesian Seminary in Kraków in 2001. In 2003, he defended his doctoral dissertation (S.S.D.) at the Pontifical Biblical Institute; then taught in Kraków at the Pontifical Academy of Theology and the Jagiellonian University Department of Jewish Studies. In 2005, he moved to work at the Institute of Biblical Studies of the Catholic University of Lublin. His publications include The Aramaic Astronomical Book from Qumran (2011).
