Mari Bolte is a Korean adoptee who loves cooking and trying out new recipes! Her favorite places are Asian markets and specialty grocery stores. Mom and designer Alyx Douglas creates whimsical stories with the goal of introducing children to different cultures and their cuisines. She lives in Philadelphia where she enjoys going to locally owned restaurants featuring diverse and authentic flavors with her family. Amber Gayle is a Southeast Asian illustrator in Ohio with a passion for bringing colorful and expressive characters to life. She is a children's book illustrator and background artist. Eva Wong Nava is an award-winning children's book author and an educator. She was born in Southeast Asia, a peninsular and insular landmass that is hot and humid, multicultural, and multilingual. Her favorite Southeast Asian dish is curry laksa, and her favorite Malaysian dessert is ais kacang.
