She previously served as Department Chair of Health and Human Performance and Director of graduate and undergraduate Athletic Training at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH, where she has been since 1988. Julie received her bachelor of science and master of education degrees from Keene State College in New Hampshire and her doctorate from the University of Virginia.
