Matt Brim is Professor of Queer Studies at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York. His books include Poor Queer Studies: Confronting Elitism in the University (2020), James Baldwin and the Queer Imagination (2014), and the coedited Imagining Queer Methods (2019). Yvette Taylor is Professor of Education, University of Strathclyde, and Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences.
