Jon Vickers-Jones is a professional storyteller and creativity instructor from Britain. He has performed in the Cumberland Valley area for many years sharing British folk tales and legends, medieval facts and fiction, and historical information about The Blitz in London during World War Two. He has taught students of all ages about the joy of expressing creativity through acting, and the value of using their own abilities and intellectual resources to bring a project to fruition. He was an instructor for Adventures in Learning at Penn State, Arts Express with the Chambersburg Area Council for the Arts, Storytelling and European history classes at schools in Pennsylvania and Maryland, and Stage Odyssey at the Cumberland Valley School of Music. He was on the Board of Directors of the Cumberland Valley School of Music. He appeared as DUKE in THE ADVENTURES OF HUCKLEBERRY FINN, ELGIN the butler in SPIDER'S WEB, both at the Totem Pole Playhouse and as BOYD in PANTS ON FIRE at the Capitol theater, Chambersburg. He reprized his role as BOYD in a PANTS ON FIRE off Broadway in New York. He has designed sets for many community theaters both in U.S.A. and Europe. Jon is at present a freelance designer for Pa. Schools and theater groups.
