OverviewThe premise of this work is to assess the prevalence of accidents at work and compare quality of life, sleep patterns and psychosocial aspects between healthy and injured outsourced construction workers. The construction industry accounts for 10% of GDP and has peculiar characteristics, such as a low level of education, high rates of accidents at work, including fatal accidents, as well as a much-discussed component today, which is the precariousness of work through outsourced contracts. The topics discussed below are of current relevance, with up-to-date theoretical references, as they present instruments that allow quality of life to be assessed using the Whoqol-bref instrument, the Munich questionnaire that allows employees' sleep patterns to be assessed. The Demand Control Support Questionnaire (DCSQ) has been used to measure the work environment and its repercussions on various groups of workers, including construction workers.
