Some of the organizations to which she belongs are the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, American Chemical Society and the Costume Society of America. Her studies have been published in the Journal of Consumer Education, Journal of the Korean Society for Clothing Industry and the Journal of Shopping Center Research, among others. Topics of her current research include natural dyes, textile quality assurance, and chemical finishes and their impact on conservation.
