Qi Notes: A Resource for Exploring the Energy of Life

Overview

The author has tackled the concept of Life Energy known as Chi, or Qi, from the standpoint of a westerner. After 40 years experience with martial arts and 10 years exploring treatment of Parkinsons, he has found that the answers can be right there all around us. Acceptance and terminology has been a big limiting factor in the search for healing modalities. This book is styled to give a new outlook to methodologies of thinking about a force that has been explored in Asian cultures for thousands of years, but has only fairly recently been accepted in the west.

Author Information

The Author somehow survived through the late 1960's in urban Texas. After college exposure he experienced other realms of thought in Boston, New Mexico, Bahamas, Virginia, North Carolina. All this happened also while looking for answers in the great philosophy and religious shuffle. At one point he decided he didn't have any answers of any kind for anyone, but he has since realized there are answers, as long as he doesn't get too attached to them. Now in the latter part of life, with a diagnosis of Parkinsons Disease, he keeps busy writing, art, exercise, and his kids, and intriguing ideas that come along.
