Overview

Win Straube, the founder and managing trustee of The Straube Foundation, presents a new form of educational system, Quality Generic Education or ""QGE,"" for the purpose of obtaining the best education at the lowest possible cost, universally acceptable and interchangeable. The use of interactive educational materials makes it possible to bring the highest quality educational presentation from the world's best minds to more people. Thus, the classroom can come to anyone at any place where he or she can be in front of a television or computer, possibly accompanied by an educational ""facilitator."" Likewise, anyone exposed to QGE presentations will be able to interact with the best educators in the world: asking questions, receiving additional and deeper background information, and taking tests regardless of a teacher being physically present. Different forms of QGE are discussed from the perspective of costs, the user, and what steps must be taken to ensure quality and cost effectiveness. Win Straube has made his career in advancing international applications of cutting edge technology with leading high-tech ventures in Europe, North America, and Asia during the last half century. Active as inventor, scientist, and engineer, he is a widely recognized lecturer on international technology transfer, with particular emphasis on means and methods for the reduction of educational costs. He holds degrees in linguistics, economics, and law.
