Overview

The Naze headland, situated on the Essex coast, is famous for its geology and wildlife but it also has a rich history, explored in this book. The peninsula has been prone to coastal flooding and erosion for centuries and today land managers are facing the grave challenge of how to enable a 'sustainable' future. The thoughts suggested in this book reflect the issues faced by many coastal communities and locations across Britain.
