Pearl Denault (Educator) Author Information""Pups on the Run"" is Hannah's first book to be published. Hannah had the idea for ""Pups on the Run"" in college, after taking a creative writing class. Hannah's two dogs, Hazel and Kaya love to roam and go on adventures. Their curiosity and free spirits inspired Hannah to write about adventures that she imagined they would go on. Hannah grew up in Cushing, Oklahoma. After high school she attended Oklahoma State Univeristy where she majored in Health Education. Go pokes! She recently married her husband, Eli. They currently reside in Edmond, Oklahoma with their 3 dogs- Hazel, Kaya and Bear. Aside from writing, Hannah enjoys playing frisbee golf with her husband, vacationing in Colorado, spending time with their dogs, and calligraphy. Pups on the Run! is Marissa Pruett's first picture book. Earlier publications included illustrations and comics for Okie Comics, the Huntingtonian, and Manuscripts. Her award-winning 2016 animated film ""Parachute"" appeared in film fests such as the Clean Shorts Film Festival and Purgatory Film Exhibition, and Pruett also contributed to 2018 film ""Henry Blue and the Crypto Crew"".
