Punks & Their Cats is a photo series by Memphis artist and musician, Erica S. Qualy. Started in 2013 on a whim it has since become an ongoing series in which she captures portraits of her friends and acquaintances (and their cats!) in her hometown and occasionally while on her travels. It is a unique perspective of modern punk culture in Memphis, Tennessee- a city simultaneously famous for its music and culture but yet still somehow unknown, ignored, and overlooked. If you are interested in punks, cats, and/or Memphis this book is for you! But don't take my word for it...
