He sits on the Steering Committee of the ENGAGE.EU Alliance of European universities funded by the Erasmus+ and Horizon2020 programs. Prof. Gallo is also Research Fellow at the University of Lisbon. He has been, inter alia, Jean Monnet Fellow (EUI), DAAD Scholar (Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law), EU Fulbright Schuman Scholar (Fordham Law School), Global Governance Fellow (KU Leuven), and Visiting Recurring Professor in several universities across Europe (e.g., Université Toulouse Capitole and Université Panthéon-Assas) and the US (American University College of Law).
