Her primary research interests are at the intersection of social media, crisis communication, and health communication. Specifically, she examines how individuals and organizations use social media for mourning, information sharing, and information-seeking following man-made and natural disasters. Sam Sims, APR, Fellow PRSA has more than 25 years of strategic communication experience in numerous industries, where he realizes successes in strategic planning, public relations, communication, development, and crises. Sam's agency, Sims Group LLC, purposefully builds a community where multiplying smart communicators and marketers provide spectacular results for clients. Katerina Tsetsura, Ph.D. is Gaylord Family Professor of Public Relations and Strategic Communication at the University of Oklahoma.
