The focus is on what public managers need to know about managing IT to create more efficient, effective, and transparent organizations. This book is unique in that it provides a concise introduction to the subject area and leaves students with a broad perspective on the most important issues. Other books in the field either examine e-government, or are large reference volumes that are not easily accessible to most students.
