Arnscheid, born 1955 in Bochum, retired since 2014, previously served as an official for the city of Bochum (Germany), where he currently resides. He has published papers on systematics of Psychidae and Satyridae as well as faunistics of Italian Lepidoptera. Michael Weidlich, born 1955 in Berlin, lives in Ratzdorf near the river Oder in Brandenburg (Germany). Since the 1970s he has worked on the Macrolepidoptera of Germany, East Europe and the Balkans.
