I have been a Secular Franciscan for twenty-five years, a member of the Knights of the Immaculata for twenty-two and am a member of the Catholic Writer's Guild and American Mensa. My first sale was a poem in 1975. Since then I have written for such varied publications as science fiction fanzines, newsletters. I have edited a neighborhood newsletter and for twenty-four years have been a contributing editor for My People, a monthly Catholic newspaper. I have written the usual variety of articles for such a publication: national, international and religious news, book, movie and television reviews, on food, money, science, seasonal human interest, even crossword puzzles and a comic strip. For an even longer time I have been on the editorial staff of a bi-monthly devotional, One Bread, One Body. For the last few years I have been the one who answers the letters and emails we get, mostly correcting misunderstanding of the Catholic Church's teachings. In 1989 I founded Hierogamous Enterprises which in 2000 published Hierogamous Hymns and in 2003 The Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary: A play for 8-12 year olds.
