PROXIMITY is a collection of lesbian short stories by award-winning author Christian Pan. These stories examine various forms of intimacy and sexual relationships between queer women. A flirtation between two colleagues at a dance company suddenly becomes more, a fantasy to explore same-sex desire while on a holiday is finally consummated, two old friends blur the lines between sex and money - in some ways, the women in each story relate to one another, each tale connecting with the other in subtle and more explicit ways.
