OverviewThe transition period is the most critical time for the development of metabolic diseases in dairy cows. Some strategies can reduce the harmful effects of the negative energy balance that occurs during this phase. Among these, choline supplementation reduces the occurrence of ketosis and hepatic lipidosis.
