OverviewProspectiva e Innovacion is a treaty of a multidisciplinary and international nature that gathers multiple focuses, experiences, and sensibilities, in different contexts and fields, about the potentialities of the future for innovation and social development. He won the Premio Extraordinario de Doctorado for his thesis on Megatendencies for the 21st century. He is a visiting professor at the Granada University and Valencia University and has been a guest lecturer at, among others, Sheffield-Hallam University, Budapest University, and Tamkang University. He is a member of the expert committee on GWForecast: tracking the information revolution, directed by William Halal, as well as a member of the expert committee for FISTERA (Foresight on Information Technologies in the European Research Area). Bas is the first Spanish author to be publish an article about Prospective Studies in Castilian. Mario Guillo is a professor in the Mediterranean Institute of Protocol Studies and an associate professor in the department of sociology at the University of Alicante (UA). He collaborates with the Office of International Projects at UA as an expert in prospective studies, innovation, and superior education. He has a degree in communication and a masters in marketing. He is a founding member of the Spanish chapter of the Millennium Project and a visiting professor at Aalto University, Haaga Velia University of Applied Science, and Areada University of Applied Sciences, among others, where he has given courses and workshops on the prospective studies methodology, innovation, and strategic communication.
