Overview

Honoured Investors, As Zhongfu Group enters its eighth decade, we are pleased to announce the acquisition of two famous coal mines, which demonstrate our steadfast commitment to promoting the interests of local government and the people of Jingzhou. While the recent death of a Discipline Inspection Committee member has been regrettable, any accusations of accounting irregularities or missing wages are unfounded. To assuage any possibility of misconduct, Qi Ben’an along with his siblings will be promoted to oversee these new assets with immediate effect. Nothing can stop this bright era of unprecedented prosperity. We thank you for your continued support.

Author Information

Zhou Meisen is vice chairman of the Jiangsu Writers’ Association, and also a retired government official. In the mid-90s, he served as deputy secretary general of Xuzhou City and became an active investor in business, stock, and real estate, making him almost uniquely qualified to write about official corruption in China. James Trapp has had a long career promoting Chinese language and culture in UK schools. As well as new versions of the Art of War and Daodejing, his translations include Shadow of the Hunter, Longevity Park and Old Kiln. Much of his work revolves around integrating the study of Chinese language and culture, and breaking down barriers of cultural misunderstanding that still persist.
