She was born in France where she completed her BA and MA. She received her PhD from Queen Mary University of London (2015). Afterwards, she held teaching positions at the University of Warwick, Sciences Po Paris, and the University of Manchester. She has published an article on gender and French soft power in Historical Journal and a piece on cultural diplomacy during the Second World War in Journal of Contemporary History.
