When research findings are successfully valorized, they greatly contribute to the development of communities. Promoting Research in Anglophone Studies in Africa exposes contextual milestones of Anglophone studies in Africa. It highlights the wide range of works produced in literature, linguistics, and didactics within the field of Anglophone Studies. The book discusses the complexities of teaching, learning, and use of English in settings where it is not always the native language. One of its key strengths lies in the fact that the contributors come from a variety of academic backgrounds including literature, culture, didactics, linguistics, translation, etc. This multidisciplinary expertise has contributed, to a large extent, to understanding and solving issues related to diverse challenges involved in valorizing Anglophone Studies within the African context.
