An eight-year veteran of the U.S. Army and Army National Guard, he served as a combat engineer and deployed to Iraq-experiences that lend a gritty authenticity to the action, drama, and adventure in his writing.A lifelong creative, Chris began his artistic journey in music. Starting the violin at age nine, he performed on television alongside a professional opera singer by age eleven. His musical career expanded to include the viola, trumpet, guitar, and bass, leading to widespread local radio play with his alternative rock band in 2000 and live shows across Texas venues from 2007 to 2012 in his nu-metal band, Plague of 98. He continues to play guitar and compose music today.Driven by a passion for visual storytelling, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Digital Cinematography from Full Sail University in 2021. He has penned numerous screenplays and produced an array of music videos, interviews, and instructional content.
