Sixty-something Sarah Wickham is happily settled into her retirement home in the historic district of downtown Scottsdale, Arizona. When the Professor receives a home tour request from other Mid-Century Modern neighborhoods, he and Sarah organize a faux progressive dinner tour through Villa Pima. As Sarah persuades homeowners to participate, she uncovers captivating stories about the original landowner where VIP1 now stands -- along with long-buried secrets ties to the land itself. Meanwhile, tensions rise as the newly revitalized Villa Pima Walking Club clashes with a recently built apartment complex that blocks canal access. The conflict takes a dark turn when mysterious sounds are heard coming from a home and human remains are discovered near the site. With help from her neighbors, her husband, and the ever-resourceful Women's War Nurses Association, Sarah dives into a decades-old mystery that could reshape the neighborhood's history.
