The characters were real both the detestable and the lovable. The scientific fact based additions were rewarding along with the interesting dialog between the jew and gentile faiths. When will the sequel be released? (IT corporate) Very interesting history and plot. The characters were colorful, well developed and believably unhinged. (Artist) GREAT Book !!!! I really liked this book, everything seemed to flow well and it really captured my imagination and at some points I never wanted to put it down as I wanted to see what would happen next. I am going to buy the next book now to see how the story continues. Amazing how good a book can be without profnity and sex. (MK) Both stories catch your attention and you want to know what is going to happen next. (E. Southworth) These are two separate storys within this volume and they are engaging and fun to read. As a resident of Big Bear, Iparticularly like that the action takes place in and around familiar landmarks. The characters are fun, the action flows smoothly and there are moral lessons to be learned. The author keeps things light while drawing in her readers with various twists and turns to the story line. I can't wait for the next book in the series! I highly recommend this title to readers of all ages. (Cathy Gibson) A crazy, fun ride. I enjoyed the light romance and comical situations along with the detective work. They both held my attention and were very interesting and well written. The writer obviously did her homework on the research for the book. Thank you for a good read! (B. Fuqua) Enjoyed this read! Unique mixture of local happenings, mysterious events, and horses! I love horses, and the nature of those wonderful caretakers! The stories inclue faith and compassion to help others when all seems lost. I like the way this worked out in the end, just Believe! (Kindle Customer) Professor Golden Mysteries is smart, charming, quirky, yet thoroughly genuine Souther California. You'll get sweep up in the adventure as the professor, accompanied by her niece Jeanay, solve a variety of mysteries in and around the Big Bear area. This book is fun from start to finish, charming with an innocence that is rarely found in fiction today, and filled with adventures with a Mountain Man, an abservatory, a horse show, and much more. (Speaking Music - Chip Clark) Author InformationI was born in Rapid City, South Dakota and raised in California. I started my painting career, with paint by number oils that my mother purchased for me as a child, after she saw how unusual my crayon drawing was. I was creating shadows and graduating colors in crayon books to create highlight. Then in 3rd grade I started drawing horses the hardest object to draw in the animal world only second to the human figure. In 8th grade an artist moved next door and my oil painting classes started. My first exhibit was at my high school fair. I was delighted people wanted to purchase my paintings but they were too hard to part with. Barbara Kowalski, M.F.A., a teacher since 1963, who juries shows nationally and in Mexico, observed a watercolor of Jeanette's saying, outstanding color and gem like quality, a little treasure. I paint in watercolor and oil on canvas and on antique windows, and acrylic greeting cards. I love to get lost in painting and creating a piece of art that brings tranquility and thoughtful immersion into the depiction.
