He previously worked at Google and DoorDash, and currently runs his own consulting business. Matt is active in the JavaScript community, maintains multiple open source projects, and is a frequent guest on podcasts. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
