Excerpt from Proceedings of the Royal Colonial Institute, 1881-82, Vol. 13 There are two classes of Fellows, Resident and non-resident, both elected by the Council on the nomination of two Fellows, one of whom at least must Sign on personal knowledge. The former pay an entrance fee of GBP3, and an annual subscription Of GBP2; the latter GBP1 ls. A year. Every non-resident Fellow elected on and after lst January, 1883, will be required to pay an entrance fee of GBP1 1s. Resident Fellows can become Life Members on payment of GBP20, or after five years' annual subscription on pay ment of GBP15 and non-resident Fellows on payment of GBP10.
