Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDr. Mokhtar Awang is a professional engineer and a professor at Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Brunei Darussalam. He is also a chartered engineer with Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology, UK (IMarEST). He obtained his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Detroit Mercy, USA, and both master and doctorate degrees from West Virginia University, USA. Mokhtar Awang had 6 years of experience in industry and over 20 years of academic experience in the field of finite element modeling and friction stir welding. He is a co-author of 2 books and editor of 18 books related to finite element modelling and material engineering. He has also published more than two hundreds peer reviewed journal and conference papers. Dr. Sattar S. Emamian obtained his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia, in 2018. He is a registered member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and has published numerous ISI- and Scopus-indexed journal articles, conference proceedings, and book chapters. His research expertise includes friction stir welding, materials science, and, more recently, manufacturing systems engineering. He is currently the Project Manager at the Fraunhofer Innovation Platform at the University of Twente. Dr. Yashar Hajimolana holds the position of CIO at ROGER Renewable Energy B.V. and serves as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Engineering Technology at the University of Twente. Within the university, he leads the research theme “Energy Systems Integration” at the Thermal and Fluid Engineering Department. Dr. Hajimolana’s research is dedicated to the development of advanced models for innovative energy systems, with a significant focus on their role in decarbonizing industries and transportation. His expertise spans energy hubs, hydrogen Integration for Decarbonization and Grid Optimization, reversible fuel cell technology, and circular solutions. With over 15 years of experience, he is a specialist in high- and low-temperature electrolysis systems, especially for applications such as grid balancing and power-to-x production. In addition to his academic role, he also serves as an advisory board member for several hydrogen hubs and industries. Dr. Barun Chakrabarti completed his MEng in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London (ICL) and a Ph.D. in Redox Flow Batteries (RFBs) at the University of Manchester, UK. After a year in industry, he moved to Malaysia as a Senior Lecturer. There he executed projects on applying ionic liquid electrolytes for RFBs. Then he worked at ICL on hydrogen/vanadium regenerative fuel cells, before moving to WMG (University of Warwick) and finally to Sabanci University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center (SUNUM). At both WMG and SUNUM, he worked on the electrophoretic deposition (EPD) of active materials for supercapacitors and batteries. He is experienced in electrochemical technologies for green energy applications. His current research focuses on EPD of nanomaterials for different energy storage applications. Ir. Ts. Dr. Solehuddin Shuib is a professor of biomechanics at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia.
