Reviews

'Dwarf galaxies (typically less than a billion solar masses) are currently at the forefront of several areas of astrophysical research, including cosmology, stellar feedback and the interstellar medium. This book presents proceedings of the recent International Astronomical Union symposium on dwarf galaxies. The meeting particularly emphasized the connections between observations and simulations, which have lately managed to routinely resolve dwarf galaxies, as well as between dwarfs in the local and the early Universe, the latter being revealed by our ever-improving observational capabilities.'
