Thursday afternoon at o'clock Professor Andrew F. West, of Princeton University, gave an address on The Lost Parts of Latin Literature; on Thursday evening, a joint session of the Classical and Modern Language conferences was held, to listen to an address by Professor William Gardner Hale, of the University of Chicago, on Prevailing Methods in the Study of Mood - Syntax in the indo-european Languages, which was preceded by an interpretation of the remains of ancient Greek music.
