Baab has spent the past 40 years exploring the potential for technology to support and enhance learning. He recently retired from teaching at the University of San Francisco (USF), where he also served as Executive Director of Information Technology Services and received his doctorate in Education. In recognition of his work, he received the USF Award of Merit, the Innovation in Teaching with Technology Award, and the Distinguished Adjunct Award for Excellence in Teaching.John Bansavich has been the Director of the Center for Instruction and Technology (CIT) at the University of San Francisco (USF) since 1997, having received his doctorate in Learning and Instruction from the School of Education at the same institution. He is also Adjunct Faculty in the School of Education and the Department of Computer Science. An early adopter of mobile technologies, he led several iPad initiatives, including the Mobile Learning Initiative at USF. He chaired the 2nd Biennial International Conference on iPads in Higher Education in March 2016. Nicos Souleles is the co-ordinator of the 'Art+Design: e-learning lab' and works at Cyprus University of Technology, having received a PhD in Educational Research from the University of Lancaster, UK. His research interests focus on e-learning and technology-enhanced learning in art and design, and he referees articles for the academic journal Higher Education Studies and the Journal of Online Learning and Teaching. Fernando Loizides is a Lecturer and Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the School of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Wolverhampton, UK, and holds an Honorary Fellowship at the Cyprus Interaction Lab at Cyprus University of Technology. His research focuses on information interaction, HCI and digital libraries, information architecture, and user experience, with a special interest on user interfaces.
