Author Information

Dr. Mourad BOUTAHIR, he is an associate professor at Moulay Ismail University in Morocco. His research interests include development of molecular dynamics and ab initio computational methods. He received his Ph.D. in 2017 in advanced materials and applications laboratory (LEM2A), faculty of Sciences, Morocco. After, he was doing a postdoctoral supervised by Dr José Mejia Lopez at the center of nanotechnology and advanced materials investigation (CIEN-UC), Chile, the project was about Materials Design for highly efficient and reliable Hydrogen and Energy Storage devices. Now, he is coordinator of Master degree in materials sciences and head of research team “Advanced Materials for Energy Transition (MATE)”. His career goal is to be a leading scientist in either an academic research laboratory, a comparable industry based or a non-profit research institution in the field of solar cells. He developed a strong computational method including different methods, has a strong knowledge in solar (PV) designer in order to be part of the future solar cells. This is an exciting time for the solar industry and so as to make a difference they change the lives of their customers and the environment. He has published more than 36 research articles in SCI(E) journals and has +250 citations.
